It actually sounds as if you have a bad board on your machine. It should erase easily and other remotes should non be picked upwards without hitting the learn button on your machine. It sounds like a power surge or lightening strike may have acquired a glitch in the board. They are ordinarily rock solid unless something similar that has occurred.

Unplug the car for about 10 minutes. This resets the motorcar. Then hold downwardly the learn button for about 20 seconds. The re enter the remotes into the machine. If it notwithstanding works your neighbors door, their machine needs to exist cleared also.

1. We accidently cleared all remotes

2. Reprogrammed them speedily to primary garage

3. Went to add together 2d garage and information technology somehow piggybacked onto main garage (press ane button and two doors go up/down or one of each..- note: we pressed the centre button for the 2nd garage and information technology didn't appear to programme)

iv. Cleared all and started over - Couldn't get principal door programmed but could get keypad.

5. Tried programming the second door - held the garage door opener push and pressed the 2nd push button and it didn't program the car - instead it programmed the remote to open both the main door and 2d door at present from the aforementioned button on the same remote (external) - (Nosotros weren't trying to mess with the main door at this point..)

Do you have whatsoever advice?

Jeff, you may exist holding the learn push button in to long and causing the automobile to drop the others already programmed. Just poke the learn button to programme. If you want to erase the lath of all programming..push the learn button in and hold it for virtually 20 seconds. If you clear the programming and try to plan one or two and it still drops the ones previously entered..it mean y'all have a bad logic lath, and it will demand to be replaced. recollect the machine volition only hold a full of five remotes/keypads..Permit me know if i can aid..Joe

My trouble is programming more than than one remote at a time. Some are not always here - or here together. Even so, trying to programme 2 or 3 - plus the keypad...inevitably some don't take and I have to outset over. Evidently it is a run to the keypad - and this all happens any time I may want to change Pins - even for the temporary characteristic.

What can I exercise?

Simon...im not really sure on a Genie. Likewise, i take found a VW to be a problem being programmed. I would attempt clearing the board of all codes and so programing each once more. A liftmaster/chamberlanin will only concur 5. Y'all may have to endeavor several times to get the car programmed. Pitiful i couldn't be more help but, i don't bargain with Genies much..Joe

Rod..use the remote that is working..follow the instrctions on the cars manual to teach the code to the car..oncw the car has learned the lawmaking..press and release the learn push on the machine and so printing and hold the push on the car..if the machines light seedling flashes on then off..its complete..hope this helps..Joe

The remote has to be programmed to the opener..and and then the remote can be taught to the car..once the car has learned it..press and release the ruby-red learn push on the opener and then press and hold the homelink button in the motorcar

First-class instructions, simply I accept some updates that were missed that will help those having problems. When training the homelink in my 2022 Camry, I constitute that I had to do both sets of grooming. Also, be sure and clear the homelink buttons of whatsoever previous training before yous start. Follow the manufacturers instructions. In my Camry I accept 3 buttons, to clear the memory, I had to press the two outer buttons and hold until the light went out. I programmed the remote to the homelink button and to the machine. When grooming the button with the remote, agree the homelink push downwardly until subsequently the rapid flashing and the lite goes off. When training the homelink to the motorcar, hesitate afterward pressing the homelink button 3 times, so press it a 4th time.

Barry..im non sure about the stanley organisation..They are no longer made, and i doubt the remotes would work due to the dissimilar frequencys used.
