How To Set Sun Direct Dish Position

Hi Friends,

Today morning I accept done Sun direct Dish alignment on my own and completed the procedure successfully. I had approached my dealers many times for adjustment the dish but they have never responded properly. Before getting into the process, I would like to thank Mr.Sathish,Dish technician from Madurai, who has shared his noesis with all of united states in aligning the Dish and tuning of STB with videos and photos.. Cheers a lot Mr.Sathish..I have spoken with you yesterday and the data provided by y'all was very very useful.

I have COSHIP CDVB 6750 STB in my home and it was one of the STBs installed by SD while launching the DTH service. Permit me explain the process I have washed in my STB & Dish to tune information technology to MeaSat. If possible, pl take your Television receiver set virtually to Dish antenna.(I take washed like that merely and then that we can melody the dish very accurately).

With the existing dish position, go in to "Advanced installation" mode in the menu. There y'all can run into number of satellites programmed which includes "Sabbatum" ,"INSAT4B", etc…
Get into "Saturday" or whatever one of the first 2 satellites programmed in the bill of fare.
Delete the all existing TPs loaded in that particular satellite bill of fare.
Add new TP with the following parameters.

Frequency: 12316

S/R: 30000

Polarisation:Horizontal

Save the TP. At present yous will see Signal quality as Zero..
Now start the scanning of this TP past clicking the scan button. You tin can meet a scan window with "Signal level" and "Signal Quality". Just these values will be zero or very low..
Now you have to marshal the dish as follows.
Get-go unscrew the bolts which give upward & down motility of dish. So slightly move the dish upwards past 2mm.Yous tin can come across the point level and signal quality starts increasing. Concur the bespeak where you accomplish more than and slightly tighten the bolts.(Note: I have achieved 41% Betoken level and 62% signal quality at this phase).
At present unscrew the bolts which requite sideway move of dish. Slightly plow the dish towards correct mitt side while yous stand at the backside of dish. Now y'all tin can see the bespeak level & signal quality increases. Hold the point where yous achieve more level and quality and tighten all the bolts.(Note: I have accomplished 41% signal level and 91% signal quality!!!. I have used the old cable wire which I had in home for this alignment and later connecting through the cable provided by SD, signal level has gone up to 73% and betoken quality remains same at 91%)..
Then first the scanning process. You can come across all the channels in all the available TPs volition be loaded in the STP(No demand of including the individual TPs). I take seen app.176 channels loaded in the STP. Immediately, NEW SOFTWARE was also installed in my STP.
That's slap-up know.. Now all the programme details are coming in the display and Vijay Goggle box,Raj Tv,etc…are available!!! But NO RADIO Channels available.
I have put some pictures besides for your easy reference. Nosotros, educated people can do this on our own and need not depend the SD people considering they are not committed and they are taking Rs.l to Rs.350 for doing this..I have planned to do this piece of work on gratis of price to my neighbors and relatives who are uneducated, if SD don't attend this trouble.
